Your past support for the Fair Foundation is hard at work improving the Amador County Fairgrounds. Through financial contributions and volunteer efforts from generous donors in Amador County, the Fair Foundation has made significant strides in enhancing the Amador County Fairgrounds. Key improvements include renovations to the General Mercantile Building, reconstruction of the Benny Brown Arena Viewing Stand, and the construction of the Wolin Arena and Simmons Beef Pavilion. Additionally, several major electrical system repairs have been completed, alongside the rehabilitation of Pokerville Hall and Spur Building façades. We've also set up staged theatre seating for future indoor events, remodeled the Midway restrooms, and provided Wi-Fi service throughout the Fairgrounds. Heavy equipment for grounds maintenance has been acquired, and we've continued to support the Junior Livestock Program. Our History

Amador County took a lead in pioneering new ways to generate funding sources with the establishment of the Amador County Fair Foundation in February 2009, led by community leaders such as Pat Crew, Ray Ryan, Stan Lukowicz, and others. The mission of the Fair Foundation is to support and benefit the community buildings and educational projects of the Amador County Fair, ensuring the growth and viability of The 26th District Agricultural Association - The Amador County Fair. The initiative began with proceeds from the Amador Four Fires Festival, complemented by several other fundraising activities, allowing individuals to donate to the Fair Foundation, with all proceeds dedicated to urgent support for fairgrounds improvements.
