The Amador County Fair Foundation was formed to raise funds to maintain and improve the Amador County Fairgrounds – your donations help us continue our work at the fairgrounds, not only for the annual county fair, but also for the hundreds of community and family activities that take place on the fairgrounds.
RENOVATE THE GENERAL MERCANTILE BUILDING!
ACFF has begun renovating the fairground’s largest building -- the General Mercantile Building -- so that it can be used for year-round events and to include an indoor theater venue seating an audience of up to 300. This project will include improved drainage in the area, new insulation, HVAC, and improved lighting for the building, and replacing the shade garden structures adjacent to the building.
The Amador County Fair Foundation is a non-profit organization formed to benefit the community and support the structural and educational entities of the Amador County Fair.
Through grants, donations, and volunteers, The Amador Fair Foundation ensures the growth and viability of The 26th District Agricultural Association - The Amador County Fair.
Amador County took a lead in pioneering new ways to generate new funding sources with the establishment of the Amador County Fair Foundation in February 2009, led by community leaders such as Pat Crew, Ray Ryan, Stan Lukowicz, & others.
The Fair Foundation’s mission is to support and benefit the community buildings and educational projects of the Amador County Fair and to ensure the growth and viability of The 26th District Agricultural Association - The Amador County Fair.
The plan started with proceeds generated by Amador Four Fires Festival, augmented by several other new fundraising activities with all proceeds dedicated to urgent improvements.
Your support and contributions will enable us to make real changes. Every little bit counts!
